Grimsby Town and Market Rasen were the only two Readers Lincs ECB Premier League teams to benefit from a washed out weekend that saw all Saturday’s games abandoned.
After a long wait for the game to start at Skegness, Grimsby managed to bowl just four overs before rain finally stopped play for the day - but by this time the seasiders had lost three wickets.
This gave Grimsby a bowling point, courtesy of 17-year-old Bailey Mawer, who sent down two of the overs, finishing with two maidens and all three wickets.
Market Rasen, meanwhile, played on Sunday at Lindum, both teams having agreed the date prior to the start of the season.
And it was the away side who came away with the maximum 20 points as Lindum were bowled out for 98, Will Bradford taking four of the wickets.
At one stage, Lindum were six for four but the middle order dug in, number eight Will Taylor top scoring with 25.
However, Rasen didn’t have it all their own way, slumping from 41 without loss to 57 for four and losing a total of seven wickets on their way to victory, four of them falling to Jonny Miller.
There was no play in the South Lincs and Border League Premier Division this weekend.
