YOUNGSTERS ‘climbed the Alps’ in their own specially written theatre show created at a summer holiday theatre workshop.

Nearly Instant Theatre Session (NITS) held the workshop at Kesteven and Sleaford High School last week, giving children the opportunity to create their own theatrical masterpiece in just five days.

The sessions started last Monday and ran all week, with the youngsters performing of their play on Friday for parents and friends.

The production was entitled NITS Climbs the Alps. It was based around a Sleaford family going on holiday to the Swiss Alps and the adventures they got up to.

More than 20 young people aged from six to 16 took part in the show that combined dancing, singing and a little bit of acting.
