Fresh from a summer of festivals and a ‘world tour’ of village halls that took them over the Humber Bridge, The Billinger Ruffs will be presenting an evening of entertainment, laughter and songs back in their home village.
They will be putting on a concert this Friday night in Billinghay village hall with a special guest performance by Lord Lock and his Merry Men from Sleaford Concert Band with sing-along Christmas carols also on the menu. There will be two other groups playing supporting The Ruffs who next year plan to target larger venues including the Guildhall Arts Centre in Grantham, although they are pleased to be performing in their own village among friends and family at this time of year.
Proceeds will go towards Billinghay Tennis Club fund to resurface its courts.
Tickets are selling well at £10 to include mulled wine and mince pies, and there will be a bar and raffle.
Tickets are available online or telephone 01526 860069, 01526 861039 or 07973 559906.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
