ANworkshops event arranged especially for young people was a great success at Sleaford’s National Centre for Craft and Design at the weekend.
A range of activities were organised by young people and included everything from African drumming sessions to local musicians such as Elliott Morley performing.
Live acoustic music was also being played throughout the building while local Ipad artist Jason Wilsher-Mills held a workshop for those wanting to learn to make the most artistic use of technology.
Ruth Singer provided visitors with the chance to ‘up-cycle’ old items at her drop in workshops at the centre or youngsters could develop their photography skills in another workshop.
Elsewhere children could get crafty, making things with fabric. during the event that took place both inside and outside the centre.
