The fun day was opened by this year’s Feast Princess, the winner of a drawing competition, Imagina Brown, aged five, who drew Helpringham Playing Field.

This year’s winners of the Junior Tandem Hoppers Race were Alex and Alice.

This year’s event proceeds supported Helpringham Playing Field and with the help from the Women’s Chattershack, they raised £509 for the cause.

The day then moved to the Brass Windmill, where live bands played in the car park and there was a family barbecue.

The Adults Helpringham Hopper race took place later that evening and was won by the last three years’ champions, Abby Tilley and Grace Spencer.
