SLEAFORD Live 2012 was hailed as another success and organisers are already looking towards plans for next year’s event.
Vi Hill from the organising committee says: “It is time for us to discuss plans for Sleaford Live ‘13 before any more weeks pass us by.
“There is going to be a meeting on Thursday July 26 in the Marquis of Granby, Northgate to discuss plans for the next Sleaford Live festival.
“Having had eight successful years the team needs to talk about where it should be going to keep up the interest it has so far maintained.
“It needs to be attracting some new blood from enthusiastic and committed people who are able to give their time and effort to the further development of this festival. It has reached a point where it is becoming stagnant and giving no surprises. Everything that happens is more or less predictable and therefore it needs a fresh agenda.”
The team is keen to meet anyone who feels they would like to be part of it. Meetings are usually held monthly until nearer to the event when they become more frequent.
If you think you would like to know more of what is expected go along to the meeting which will start at 8pm. You will be most welcome.
In the meantime you can call 01529 300331 or 07739 017183 for more information.
