New district governor meets Rotarians

Sleaford and Sleaford Kesteven Rotary clubs hosted a visit by their new district governor.

John Dehnel is the new governor for District 1070 he and was invited to a combined meeting of the two clubs at the Finch-Hatton Arms, in Ewerby.

The meeting heard plans announced for the coming Rotary year.

Rotary aims to help eradicate Polio completely within the next few years and Mr Dehnel announced that the ‘End Polio Now’ initiative had resulted in only 19 cases of the disease reported worldwide this year.
