Young people with an interest in design were invited along to the National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford to see what the centre has to offer them.

On the first Saturday of each month, the centre is running NCCB Young Designers’ sessions, from 1pm to 4pm. A taster session was held on the first Saturday in February to give young people, aged between 12 and 25, an insight into what events they can get involved with.

The aim of the sessions is to offer budding young designers the chance to work with artists and designers to explore craft and design, and develop skills and confidence, as well as providing access to NCCD exhibitions and the potential to develop exhibitions and events of their own.
