Ruskington Christmas Lights

An annual Christmas lights switch on event in Ruskington which attracts large crowds will be held next Thursday, December 1.

The event has become an annual staple in Ruskington and a way to begin celebrating the festive season.

89 and 91 Elmtree Road in Ruskington light up their houses every year for charitable causes.

Jacky Cooper lives at 89 and Val Midgley at 91 in Elmtree Road.

There will be a chance for youngsters to meet Father Christmas and also grab a Santa bag.

There is the option of juice and biscuits, or mini pizza for youngsters.

Adults can enjoy a glass of mulled wine, biscuits and a mini pizza, with pizzas provided by The Wingmen from Sleaford.

There are opportunities where people can donate if they wish.

Money made from this year’s proceedings will be donated to Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and a children’s hospice.

The lights will be switched on at 6pm and all are welcome to witness the spectacle.

Organisers would like to thank businesses for their contributions and people who help make the illuminations event such a success every year.
