Visit from Knight of the Skies

One of the 36 knights for the Lincoln Knights' Trail paid a visit to RAF Metheringham on Saturday.

The Lincoln Knights’ Trail is 36 sculptures which celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest.

106 Sqn mascot Mr Fox, who had been missing since June last year, was found over the weekend by the original cabinet he came from. Andy Marson, chairman of Friends of Metheringham Airfield said: “Without the media and publicity I don’t think he would have been found.”
