Band of RAF College Cranwell puts on autumn concert series

The Band of the RAF College Cranwell will be holding a series of autumn concerts at Whittle Hall on the base next week.

The concerts are on Wednesday September 28 to Friday September 30, each starting at 7.30pm.

The band’s Director of Music, Flight Lieutenant Richard Murray, said: “I have just arrived at RAFC Cranwell from Headquarters Music Services, RAF Northolt and I am really looking forward to showcasing the Band of the RAF College at the Whittle Hall.

“The concert series entitled ‘Music for Heroes’ will celebrate the achievements of the Great Britain Olympic and Paralympic teams, Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday and commemorate events such as the Battle of the Somme and Operation Granby.
