Curtain to rise on time travel comedy

An amateur dramatic group based near Sleaford are set to stage their latest production.

The New Cliffside Players presents The Grandfather Paradox, a play written by Barry Wood, at Wellingore Memorial Hall, in West Street, Wellingore on Saturday and Sunday.

It is billed as ‘a time travel comedy with Einstein, Jesus and a cross-dressing Hitler’.

Performances will take place on Saturday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 2pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £7 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for children and are available from 01522 811117

The New Cliffside Players was founded in 2008 and has since staged more than a dozen productions.

It is open for anyone to join, regardless of experience or ability.

They meet at Wellingore Memorial Hall each Wednesday from 7.30pm-9.30pm.

There is a weekly membership fee of £2 for over 16s and £1 for under 16s.
