If you have ever wondered what it would be like to meet a Roman gladiator or questioned the accuracy of Hollywood’s depiction of the armed combatants from the past, then look no further than the next meeting of the Lincolnshire Historical Association.
The event takes place at Little Hale Chapel, in Little Hale, on Monday, November 3.
A spokesman for the association said it will be a chance to ‘meet a gladiator in the flesh and find out what it was really like to live – and in all probability die – as a gladiator’.
The meeting starts at 4.30pm, with tea and biscuits from 4pm.
All are welcome.
