Lions to host swingin’ 60s night

FOLLOWING on from the success of their Seafood Extravaganza nights, local Lions will
be hosting a Swinging 60s evening.

The Sleaford and District Lions Club will be holding a sixties night on Saturday at the New Life Conference Centre on Mareham Lane, Sleaford and all are invited to join in.

Music on the night will come courtesy of popular local band the Wrinkly Rockers, who will perform a variety of dance music and some light entertainment.

The evening will include a supper of bangers ‘n’ mash followed by dessert, and will be served at 7pm. A vegetarian option is also available.

The sixties night is in aid of the Sleaford Laffletics Club, which offers disabled youngsters and their families the chance to play sport together.

Last year, the Lions raised nearly £400 for good local causes in the community, and they are hoping to top that this year.

Tickets are of limited availability and cost £13 per person, available by calling Sue La Roche on 01529 302914 or Carol Coxhead on 01529 304602.
