Band booked for folk festival

Sleaford’s own Indie Celtic group, The Band From County Hell, are to be part of the line up at The Great British Folk Festival 2014, to be held at Butlins Resort, Skegness.

The event will run from Friday December 5 to Monday December 8.

After a show earlier this year at The 100 Club in London, the band were approached to play this year’s national festival and will be playing the Introducing Stage at 4pm on Sunday December 7.

This autumn BFCH have done a live show for Essex radio station Phoenix FM and have supported international band The Beat on some of their national tour dates.

Said frontman Steven McLelland: “We have had a great year, our album ‘Do These Things Happen to You’ has just been published on iTunes and we are looking forward to a busy month.”
