Choral Society to mark golden jubilee

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of Sleaford Choral Society and they are holding a golden jubilee celebration concert at St Denys’ Church, Sleaford.

The programme contains different styles of music, from Gilbert and Sullivan to Abba.

They have Sachin Gunga from Lincoln Cathedral as organist and accompanist, Peter Freeman and Rev Philip Johnson as guest trumpeters and three conductors - Graham Garton, Neville McFarlane and resident musical director Rowland Lee.

The concert starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 25, tickets are £8 from Soft Options in the Market Place and Wilcox and Carter jewellers in Bristol Arcade.
