An international country gospel band are set to bring their unique style of music and ministry to Ruskington next week.

An international country gospel band are set to bring their unique style of music and ministry to Ruskington this weekend.

Live Issue perform at Ruskington Methodist Church, in Chapel Street, on Saturday, at 7.30pm.

The band, who hail from Northern Ireland, have released four albums and completed several successful tours of the US.

These included an appearance at the Grand Ole Ospy, in Nashville, a weekly country music stage concert which lays claim to being the world’s longest-running live music programme, this year turning 90 years old.

Band member Colin Elliott said: “Live Issue is considered by many to be one of the most popular groups in the UK, not only for their musical and singing ability but also for their warmth, humility, sense of humour and love for the Lord; I believe that the message behind the songs is the most important aspect of our concerts.”

Admission to the concert is free, although there will be a retiring collection.
