Following what they have described as ‘a gig of a lifetime’, Sleaford band The Band From County Hell (BFCH) have announced dates for 2016.

Last month, The Band From County Hell were back at The Great British Folk Festival 2015 after winning the public vote last year out of 46 new acts on the Introducing Stage.

The four-day event was held at Butlin’s, Skegness, drew record numbers, and was headlined by top folk acts including Billy Bragg, Steeleye Span, and Sharon Shannon.

Frontman for the Band From County Hell Steven Mclelland said: “It was a gig of a lifetime for us, we drew our biggest audience since we played at The London Palladium 14 years ago. The sound and stage crew could not have been more supportive and people from all over the country came to the festival, enjoyed our set and bought our CDs.

The Band From County Hell will be playing two-seated Lincolnshire venues in the New Year: The Guildhall, Grantham, on Saturday, February 20, and they are headlining a ‘St Patrick’s Celebration’ at The Drill Hall, Lincoln, on Saturday March, 19.
