Expect festive tunes at Unplugged session and maybe a harpist?

What's on.
What's on.

The next Unplugged acoustic session will take place in Sleaford early next month.

The session starts at 6.30pm on Tuesday December 2 in the cafe area of the National Centre for Craft and Design where hot and cold drinks are available.

It will be an evening of Christmas celebrations and festive music. There will be the occasional interlude of recitation from members of the Sleaford Hub Writers who will be meeting on the fourth floor.

If you have not been before but feel like coming along to enjoy a friendly and entertaining evening then you will be made very welcome.

They expect to see several guitarists playing, some individually and others in groups, and many festive songs performed. There will also be other instruments being played including keyboard, bodhran, banjo, violin, accordion and maybe a harmonica. They are still waiting for someone to turn up with a harp or wind instrument that hasn’t been played before - a prize for anyone who brings one along and plays it. That is the Christmas challenge.

Call 01529 300331 or 07739 017183 if you have any questions about these sessions.

There will be no Unplugged session or Hub Writers meeting in January as that month is usually missed. The following one will be on February 3.
