The next Unplugged acoustic music session will take place in Sleaford’s National centre for Craft and Design at 6.30pm on February 3.

These are open mic sessions for anyone to have a go at performing - both regulars and new faces.

A spokesman said: “No one expects perfection and if you lose your nerve, break a string or play wrong notes then everyone is there to support you whatever instrument you play or if you just want to sing or watch and listen then you are welcome. Resident sound engineer Steve Scarfe is always there to help and brings a keyboard along for anyone who wishes to use it.”

On the same night the Sleaford Hub Writers meet on the 4th floor to discuss and read their own poetry or stories.
