An award-winning British pianist who has performed to audiences around the world is set to come to Sleaford this week.

Ashley Fripp is the latest booking of Sleaford Music Club. He will play The Civic Suite, in North Kesteven District Council’s offices, in Eastgate, at 7.30pm, today (Friday).

Ashley frequently appears as solo recitalist, chamber musician and concerto soloist in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, having performed extensively throughout Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.

He has won prizes at more than a dozen national and international competitions, including the coveted Gold Medal from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Following successful nomination from the Barbican Centre, Ashley was selected by the European Concert Halls Organisation onto their Rising Stars scheme and is currently undertaking a European-wide tour at venues throughout the continent.

Next month features performances in Budapest, Barcelona and Stockholm, followed by recitals at the Concertgebouw, in Amsterdam, and the Gulbenkian Grand Auditorium, in Lisbon.
