Sleaford Live off to a terrific start

The first half of Sleaford Live 2016 music and arts festival has been completed with crowds enjoying a whole host of entertainment already.

The next five days promise to be just as exciting, completed by a grand finale at The Masonic Rooms with Miller Magic swing band on Sunday at 7pm.

Events so far have included: Best of Unplugged in the Solo Bar on Saturday featuring Dogwood Union, Dan Hibbert, Mike Todd, Sleaford Ukulele Orchestra and O’Carrolans.

French band Some Better Days also played in the Solo Bar on Saturday and the Beer and Bean on Sunday Night.

Guitarist C J Hatt played in Millers Restaurant, Night Shift were at the The Electra Club on Saturday Night, the Band Showcase at the Barge and Bottle featured acts including Faux Pas, The Tyrants and Deja Blue.

The week was kicked off with a highly popular gig by Sleaford folk duo Winter Wilson in the Playhouse.
