INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed virtuoso string quartet, Bowjangles, is appearing at Ewerby Reading Rooms.
The concert on September 21 features music with classy vocals, hilarious comedy and energetic dancing.
The show promises to take the audience back to the good old days of the music halls variety when talent was plentiful.
This hugely enjoyable show will include the absolute antedote to the Olympic games; their take on this year’s sporting activity. The company will present The Bowjangles Games with boxing, gymnastics and others while playing a variety of stringed instruments.
The company is made up of classically trained musicians who have recently appeared at the Milton Keynes International Festival as well as extensive rural tours of Shropshire, Herefordshire, Dorset and Oxfordshire as well as appearing in Australia and Scandinavia with forthcoming visits to India, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.
Fiona White, chairman of the Reading Rooms organising committee says: “We are extremely fortunate to have been able to book Bowjangles for one night only at Ewerby. We can promise a fabulous evening of music and fun from a group of highly talented musicians.”
The concert starts at 7.30pm at the Reading Rooms on the High Street.
Tickets priced at £8 and £5 for children will shortly be on sale from Irene Austen on 01529 461074 or from any committee member.
