Sleaford Live 2016 music and arts festival has been another resounding success.

Keith Collishaw from the event committee said Buffalode and Bad Mouth at the Cricket Club were among his favourite performances.

He added: “Some Better Days came over from France and entertained with their high quality writing and performance. Pennyless were great again at the Playhouse. I organised an acoustic evening on Wednesday night which was great fun. As was the music at Heckington Windmill.”

Most inspirational was the ‘Singing for the Brain’ organised by the Alzheimer’s society. Acclaimed Sleaford folk duo Winter Wilson and rock band Glass Onion both played to large crowds and there were many other highlights.

They will look to run instrument workshops again next year and Mr Collishaw thanked everyone for their support.
