A Sleaford fish and chip shop is to take part in the first National Fish and Chip Day On Friday.
Narinder Singh, co-owner of Sunny’s Plaice in Jermyn Street, said it is the first time it has been done – organised by the National Edible Oil Distributors Association.
To mark the occasion she said: “We are giving every customer on Friday a ticket. We will then draw out a ticket and whoever’s number it is will win their meal again for free, whenever they want it.”
They will hold a draw at each of their shops in Sleaford, Bardney, Lincoln and Bourne.
