YOU can have a go at African drumming this autumn.
artsNK is organising African djembe drum workshops in North Hykeham and is inviting people to join in.
Dave Groom, Music Devel-opment Officer for artsNK, said: "The drumming sessions are great fun, and can even contribute to your fitness regime without leaving your seat. Drums are provided, of course. You don't need any experience to join in, just come and enjoy learning a new skill."
The workshops will be led by Gambian master-drummer Njega Sohne. The sessions take place at the North Kesteven Centre, Moor Lane, in North Hykeham, on Tuesdays.
Sessions for 8 to 15-year-olds start at 4pm and for anyone over 16 years at 7pm. Each session lasts an hour and a half.
Young people under 18 years pay £3 per week whichever class they attend, and adults pay £5.
To book a place or for further information, ring artsNK on 01529 410595 or 01529 411199.
