Nostalgia - Pantomime time ... oh, yes it was! Amateur dramatic groups in the area get set to stage their latest seasonal productions

Pictured above are some of the cast of Aladdin, which was to be staged by Heckington Players at Heckington Village Hall.

From left, they are Christian Slingsby (as Aladdin), Mel Priestley (as Princess Ki-Lee), and Andrew Key (as Widow Twankey).

Andrew was also the director of the play, which had been written by Kei Bailey.

Pictured right are members of the Metheringham Amateur Dramatics Society rehearsing for their production of Puss in Boots.

The show – which would be staged at Metheringham Village Hall – was being directed by Gaynor Little and produced by Fran Pembery.
