Two historic attractions near Sleaford prepare to reopen to visitors from Saturday

Cogglesford Mill and Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum will open their doors from 12pm until 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and people will be able to visit the sites in limited numbers.

Although the experience may be slightly different to what people remember, the venues want visitors to have the most enjoyable time possible, and the teams will be on hand to ensure that everyone still has a memorable visit whilst staying as safe as possible.

To ensure the wellbeing of all visitors, the venues are asking people to pre-book a one-hour time slot if they wish to go to either attraction. This can be done online at www.heartoflincs.com/booking or by phone 01529 488490. Drop in visitors will not currently be allowed at either venue.

In line with social distancing guidance, there will also be a new one-way system in place and visiting groups will be restricted to a maximum of six people.

A spokesman said both venues have been deep-cleaned during closure, and anti-bacterial hand sanitizing stations are now available on site.

Gift shops will be open, but they politely request that where possible, people use a contactless method of payment.
