Many top tourist attractions in Lincolnshire will be opening their doors to visitors free of charge this weekend.
Attractions across the county will be offering free admission or special discounts as part of the Discover Lincolnshire Weekend.
Coun Colin Davie, Lincolnshire County Council executive member with responsibility for economic development, said: “Discover Lincolnshire Weekend gives local residents the opportunity to visit some of the fantastic attractions that are on their doorstep - all for free.”
Among those taking part is Tattershall Castle, which will be open for free to the public on both the Saturday and Sunday, 11am - 4pm, with free guided tours available. Other Sleaford area attractions taking part are: Saturday - Welbourn Forge; Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre; Sunday - Cogglesford Watermill, Sleaford; Navigation House, Sleaford and Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre.
