The hounds of the Blankney Hunt were in full cry as they gathered with horses and riders in Sleaford Market Place for the annual Boxing Day meeting.
Hunt secretary Adrian Whitehead said the weather was ideal and brought out probably the biggest crowd seen for the event. He said: “We would like to take that as an indicator of public support.”
The riders and hounds were supported by followers throughout the day as they headed out across country following scent trails to Kirkby La Thorpe, Asgarby and back to Haverholme as darkness fell.
