Arsonists target car in Rippingale

A car fire in Rippingale in the early hours of this morning (March 25) is being treated as arson.

A crew from Billingborough was called to the outbreak in Dovecote at about 2.55am.

The fire was extinguished with the use of two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus.

Lincolnshire Police said the car was completely burnt out in the incident, but no one was injured.

A spokesman said: “Police are treating the incident as arson. Investigations are ongoing to trace the offender.”
