A motorcycle club held its main charity fundraising event of the year in Billinghay last week.
The Wolds Bikers held their charity bike night at the Coach and Horses pub, raising more than £500 to be shared between LIVES and the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.
The free family event had a variety of stands, live band, martial arts display, prizes for best custom and classic bikes and exhibits of grass track and speedway racing teams.
Lisa Tooth, club chairman, was grateful to fellow bike club, the Shin Whittlers, who helped with manpower on the night and she was pleased with the attendance, despite competition from other local motorbike events including Cadwell Park. There is already interest in next year’s event and hopefully more classic bikes will go along, too.
