An estate agents has expanded its services for the East Midlands with the addition of a call centre in Sleaford set to create 15 new jobs.
Pygott and Crone is due to open the new service later this month and will be serving customers across the area and in London, where the agent has been operating for the last 18 months.
Removals, insurance, regular mortgage rate reviews, property valuations and responding to queries and concerns post sale are some of the services that will soon be available.
Kevin Scrupps, managing partner from Pygott & Crone, said this was something that few agents in the area are currently offering and he will be recruiting more staff to the team as a result.
“We’re really excited about our new call centre, which will enhance the service we offer to our customers,” he said.
“Our highly-trained team of eight will be available after a sale so any concerns or issues that might arise during those first few weeks can be dealt with immediately.
“We know we’re great at delivering the traditional estate agent services but now we want to make the moving in or the sale of a property even easier for our customers.
“Moving home or buying and selling a property can be a very stressful time, but by offering more services under one roof to home owners and tenants, we can make this transaction as seamless as possible.”
The introduction of a new call centre team is part of a wider growth plan for the multi-award winning firm.
“As part of the new call centre, we’ll be recruiting more staff, which is also great for the local economy,” added Kevin.
“Later in the year, we will move from our current location at 21 Northgate, Sleaford, to a larger double-fronted location on Sleaford High Street, which will act as a new headquarters.”
The agent will move into the former Currys store to offer customers a more relaxed experience when viewing property portfolios. Large screens and comfortable furniture will make searching for a house a more pleasant and comfortable experience.
Pygott & Crone was named Estate Agent of the Year 2014 as well as Best Midlands Estate Agent 2014 at The Times and The Sunday Times Property Awards.
The firm is a Relocation Agent Network company, which means the company is part of a 600-strong network of branches across the UK.
