A new website promoting this autumn’s Made in Sleaford exhibition has been launched.
The Made in Sleaford event marks the beginning of a new campaign to highlight the vast range of interesting and innovative output of Sleaford’s businesses.
Organisers at North Kesteven District Council (NKDC) launched the website – www.madeinsleaford.com – today (Wednesday) to help businesses make the most of the free showcase on October 9-10 and promote the event to locals.
Over the two days, Made in Sleaford takes place in and around Navigation Wharf, the National Centre for Craft and Design, and Eastgate Green, celebrating and promoting the quality and diversity of products and services produced, designed and manufactured in the town.
The website invites businesses to express an interest in being a part of the celebration and also allows the public to book onto Saturday’s ‘Mint to the Maltings’ coach tours of Sleaford’s key historical sites.
The website will evolve over time to detail more and more about the town’s industrial and commercial heritage and become a destination hub for searching out the best in local enterprise, NKDC says.
