Since launching at the start of Novemeber, Sleaford Town Team has seen strong support from residents and businesses, with a number already joining up to get more involved.
Membership, although voluntary, is the Town Team’s primary source of funding and is vital to its success to attract more visitors, shoppers and investors to the town.
Chairman Clare Rayner explains that by growing a solid and influential membership base the team will be able to secure the necessary funding, skills and resources to implement a variety of projects that will benefit all those who live and work in Sleaford.
The Team now have five resident members (one has chosen to pay at basic, small business, level), eight basic business members, two standard members and one ‘honorary’ member.
“So we have now got 16 members,” said Mrs Rayner, “And there are at least 10 who are considering getting involved. That’s of course in addition to eight founders.”
