A charity music night in memory of a well known Sleaford barman has helped raise funds for leukaemia and lymphoma research.
Danny Cahn died, aged 24, in September and the evening was organised by his widow, Marie, 32, to help families struggling with the condition.
Marie said Danny had only been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic lymphoma 16 weeks before he died.
On his death, Marie felt the urge to fundraise for leukaemia care and the hospital where he was treated.
Dan worked behind the bar at the Barge and Bottle and boss Mick Wells allowed the fundraising event to be held in the pub. Marie was very grateful to him and his staff for their support as well as everyone else involved and those who attended the event on Friday night.
Two local rock bands, Temple Bruer and The Code, performed for the crowd and there was a raffle and auction.
