Sleaford residents confused by computers or defeated by digital can now get help thanks to volunteers at their local library.
From tomorrow (Thursday, January 7), two ‘computer buddies’ will be dedicating one and a half hours each week to share knowledge and answer any questions including how to get online and find your way around the internet, basic skills when using a computer or how to use a tablet or IPad.
Sessions can last between half an hour to an hour, depending on support needed, with volunteers providing one to one support on alternate Mondays, 9.15am-10.45am and on alternate Thursdays 10.30am-12.00pm.
Additionally, the library will be holding free internet taster sessions provided by library staff. The sessions are for a maximum of three learners, so ask library staff for details of dates and times to book your place.
