Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole lead flashing and copper piping from a newly built property in Pointon

The new property had just been built on Main Road in Pointon and the incident is thought to have occurred between 8am on Friday November 20 and 4pm on Saturday November 21.

PCSO Jason Possnett of of Bourne and Billingborough police team said: “Approximately 20kg of lead flashing was being stored to the rear of the property which has been taken as well as copper piping from within the property. If you can help with our enquiries please call 101 and quote incident 90 24/11/15.”

He added: “I would also like to ask you to please be vigilant and if you see suspicious persons please call 101.”
