Police hunt shooter in Ruskington who injured cat with air rifle pellet

Sleaford police are hunting for a shooter suspected of injuring a cat by firing an airgun at it.

Sleaford Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the incident yesterday evening (Friday) on St Clements Road, Ruskington.

PCSO Nic Page said: “It has been reported that a cat from a property on St Clements Road has been shot with an air rifle pellet.

“The cat has been taken to the vets by its owners and undergoing treatment for its injuries. It’s believed that this occurred late evening on May 12 (Thursday).”
