A police investigation is underway into three separate burglaries, all of which occurred on Monday (September 21).
A police spokesman says each of the houses involved is a detached bungalow and the intruders have got in via a rear window on each occasion. One was thought to have been left insecure.
Properties at Crown Hill in Ropsley, The Drift in Syston and The Paddock in Morton were all targeted between the hours of around 1.45pm and 7pm that day.
The spokesman said: “The suspect, seen by residents at two of the incidents, is described as a white male, possibly quite short and dressed in dark clothing.
“It is thought he may be aged between 40 and 50. Officers are investigating whether each burglary and offender is linked. It is thought that a silver car, possibly the size and shape of a Ford Mondeo, might have been involved.”
Investigating officers are carrying out a number of enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything in relation to each incident, or anyone who has any information in relation to any of the incidents.
