Sleaford Police were issuing an urgent appeal yesterday (Sunday) after a ram raid on a business premises at North Kyme.
A police spokesman said at 2.41 pm a silver Honda CRV, possibly with a ‘53’ number plate, rammed into an industrial unit on Main Street at North Kyme by reversing through the gates.
The raiders are said to have taken a high value, large orange Timber Wolf wood chipper.
The get away vehicle was last seen heading towards Ruskington.
The spokesman said: “Police are following up on a number of lines of enquiry and would like to hear from anyone who may have any information that might be relevant to the investigation or anyone who saw the offending vehicle in the area at the time, which sustained significant rear damage.
