Staff and students at Ruskington Chestnut Street Primary School enjoyed a poetry morning recently in aid of a cancer charity.
Parents had the opportunity to spend time with the children, helping them to write a variety of poems. This was then followed by coffee, cakes and a raffle.
The event helped to raise £140.60 for Marie Curie.
Head teacher Laura Suffield said: “Thank you to everyone who came along to support the morning and create some wonderful poetry.”
