Year 8 students at Carre’s Grammar School have been taking part in The Big Food Survey for The Crunch, an initiative run by health research charity the Wellcome Trust.
Put forward by teacher Joanne Livsey, the boys used pocket-sized computers to gather data about their eating habits of one day.
Researchers at Lancaster University will process the survey results and will reveal later what the UK’s 12-13 year olds are eating and drinking.
The Crunch Project aims to help people think about how our food, health and planet are all interconnected.”
