Swedish energy development company, Vattenfall, has published detailed artist’s impressions of a proposed 20 turbine wind farm at Nocton Fen ahead of a summer consultation with local residents.
The consultation will share results of the firm’s assessment and design work to date, potential environmental effects and measures to reduce impact. Vattenfall reduced turbine numbers from 23 to 20 after consultation with local residents, instead increasing the size of the turbines to 149.5 metre tall to maximise the power generated. An annual community investment of £300,000 is on the table. View at www.vattenfall.co.uk/noctonfen
