Whether its pond-dipping for aquatic creepy-crawlies or willow weaving-up some crafts - there is plenty to offer all ages at a riverside event on Sunday.
The tourism team at North Kesteven District Council have organised the fun day.
Visit the Sleaford Riverside on Sunday between 10.30am and 3.30pm for a fun-filled day of pond dipping, willow weaving plus lots more.
This is a free event ideal for all ages with activities taking place at Navigation House, Lollycocks field and Cogglesford Watermill.
Start at Navigation House where you can learn the history of trade on the river in Sleaford and how important it was to the town.
There will also be a chance to see the Woolly Witham, a knitted sculpture of the River Witham by Lincoln WI on loan from Lincolnshire Rivers Trust. Make your way down to the River Slea where Sleaford Navigation Trust will be duck racing.
Pick your duck for just £1 and watch the race to be in with a chance to win a prize.
On Lollycocks field, visitors can take part in pond dipping and see what critters live in the local reserve. They can then stop by Cogglesford Watermill so see it in operation, before trying their hand at willow weaving.
There’s plenty more events and activities taking place throughout the summer.
