Families enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at St Gilbert of CofE Sempringham Primary School fete in Pointon last week.
There was music by the Sleaford Training Band, games, craft stalls, table top sales, tombolas, bread baking on an open fire hosted by Woodland Adventures and a bouncy castle.
To keep everyone refreshed, the Ship Inn at Pointon hosted a barbecue and licenced bar.
David Esmond from the Diocesan Board of Education officially open the remodelled outdoor playground and field areas to fit in with the school’s new curriculum .
These developments have been partly Lottery funded through Sport England and tie in with the school’s new approach to learning.
The school was open exhibiting children’s work with pupils giving tours on request.
Music teacher Jim McQuade led children in a samba band performance. Mr McQuade is retiring from his teaching role and was presented with cards and gifts.
