Representatives of community groups and charities are invited to join in a Voluntary Sector Forum free networking event in Sleaford on June 18.
North Kesteven Voluntary Sector Forum takes place from 10am to 12.30pm at St Denys’ Church Hall, Market Place, and features a range of topical speakers, news and funding updates.
The June Forum includes presentations on: hate crime awareness and prevention from Dale Newman, community outreach co-ordinator for Just Lincolnshire; Lincs Co-op Community Champions funding scheme from Kaye Robinson; Lincolnshire Co-op
Support; and services for carers from Pete Hagan, Lincolnshire Carers and Young Carers Partnership.
The Forum offers an opportunity for you to promote your organisation’s services, projects and events during the ‘open forum’ slot. Anyone attending is welcome to bring leaflets or other promotional material to share.
This free event is followed by a networking lunch from 12noon onwards, so book in advance.
The event is organised by Voluntary Centre Services, which delivers a range of services including training and advice for community and voluntary organisations across West Lincolnshire through offices based in Lincoln, North Kesteven and West Lindsey.
All training courses are free for volunteers.
