Pupils at St Botolph’s CE Primary School in Sleaford, and their parents, were busy baking earlier this month to help Armed Forces charity Help for Heroes.
The school held an event in support of the charity’s Bake for Heroes fundraising campaign.
The event was organised by teacher Sarah Casserley, and representatives from Help for Heroes visited the school to talk to the children about the work of the charity and where their money would go.
To add to the excitement, there was even a visit from Hero the Bear, who is pictured with some of the children.
The school’s baking day raised £250 for the charity.
Bake for Heroes Fortnight was held across the country from April 18 to May 4.
