The Helpringham History Society exhibition runs from 10am-2pm in the Memorial Hall. Among items featured will be service records of the war dead, photographs of war graves and artefacts such as a model Lancaster made from a plane that was shot down. Recordings featuring the sounds of WW2 planes will be played to add atmosphere to the day.
The Act of Remembrance takes place at 11am at the war memorial, followed by a service at St Andrew’s Church. After the service, the history society hopes to welcome everyone back to the Memorial Hall. Exhibition entry is free and there will be a cafe and licensed bar.
