Members of the Rotary Club of Sleaford Kesteven marked Rotary Day at the end of February with a litter pick in the centre of Ruskington.
The group was based at the Lincolnshire Co-operative’s foodstore in High Street North.
Inside, shoppers found a stall promoting Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign.
Rotary, along with its partners, has reduced polio cases by 99.9 per cent worldwide since its first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.
A spokesman for the Rotary Club of Sleaford Kesteven said: “The club would like to thank the villagers of Ruskington for their kind donations on the day.”
